Hike to Stewart Falls

The trail said "closed" but we went anyway. And so did a bunch of other people, mostly coming down.

Our first view of the falls. Fantastic!

The scenery was beautiful, but don't look at the scenery and walk at the same time. I was leading when I heard a muffled clumphffff from behind. I looked back to see Jaynee lying in the weeds and stinging nettle on the river side of the trail. There's the stumble rock in the middle of the trail, and there's the patch of weeds and stinging nettle she found herself in ... helpless.

We made it to the top. This picture is looking back down. A lot of water, and you can see the snow in this area had just recently melted. Too much mist from the water fall to get a decent close up picture.

We took pictures on the way back down.

Apparently that big puffy weed didn't want you to see the falls.

We saw a flock of about 12 turkeys on the way back.

Cool! Looks like you had a lot of fun, plunge into nettle notwithstanding. TechNu to the rescue!
